Gerardo Burgos Caballero was born in Lima, Peru. He studied under the tutelage of distinguished masters like Alberto Molina, Cajahuaringa and Miguel Nieri at the Escuela Nacional de Artes de Lima, where he graduated with the highest honors.

His exhibitions include prestigious saloons like the National Museum, the Gallery of El Comercio and commercial galleries like Galería 2VS. His paintings are in collections around the world including Holland, Belgium, France and Italy. His favorite artists are Renoir, Degas and Monet.
