Centaur Galleries offers to qualified buyers free appraisals every two years for art purchased from a Centaur or Minotaur gallery1.
We do not offer appraisal services for art purchased from other galleries, individuals, estate sales, auctions, etc.; for art that was inherited or received as a gift; or for anyone other than the person(s) named on the Centaur or Minotaur sales receipt. If you live in the U.S., you can find a qualified appraiser near you through the American Society of Appraisers' Web site at http://www.appraisers.org/.
If you qualify for a free appraisal from Centaur Art Galleries, there are three steps to submit your request:
- First, you must have either of the following:
- a copy of your sales invoice, or
- a copy of a past Centaur or Minotaur appraisal for the same work of art.
- You must complete an appraisal request form for each work of art. There are several ways to get the form:
- Once you've completed the form (even if you submit the form online), you must fax the completed form along with a copy of the sales invoice, or a copy of a past Centaur or Minotaur appraisal for the same work of art, to us at +1 702 891 0080, or mail copies to:
